Beyoncé recently began her “Renaissance” tour in Stockholm, Sweden. The opening night of the tour generated a plethora of headlines. The playlist was keenly awaited by fans before to the concert.
Fortunately, they were able to see it early because a video of the tour book was uploaded. A rough setlist was shown in the tour book, with some songs circled, starred, and crossed out. After the first night of the tour, fans now have access to the whole 36-song setlist. Beyoncé did, however, take a time throughout the event to remind supporters who is in charge.
Since the release of Beyoncé’s latest album last year, fans have been begging for some sort of visuals. Generally, visuals are a huge part of any album the iconic artist releases. So, it’s no surprise that the main question on fans’ minds has been, “Where are the visuals?” Hilariously, a segment of Beyoncé’s set provided a very direct response to this question. In the intro to “Formation,” a narrator provides a voice-over as the words are displayed on huge screens. “I know you hear me. You’ve asked for the visuals,” the disembodied voice says. “You’ve called for the queen, but a queen moves at her own pace, b*tch.”
There were plenty of classic Beyoncé moments on the first night of the tour. At one point during the show, she showcased her dance moves by doing her own version of Lil Uzi Vert’s famous “Just Wanna Rock” dance. The Lemonade singer was captured on video performing the popular dance as a mash-up with her hit song “Diva.” Her enthusiastic dance moves caused quite a stir among the audience.
The clip has since gone viral on social media platforms, with fans thrilled by the sight of the iconic singer dancing to the catchy beat of Uzi’s track. It’s evident from the video that Beyoncé took the dance very seriously. As always, she gave it her all and proved again why she is considered one of the greatest performers of our time.
